MSGTGS is a new desktop application that tells you when your emails have been received and opened. It works alongside your existing mail program, sending you an email the moment your message is viewed — just to let you know. MSGTGS simply lets you know they've got the message.

MSGTGS notify you the moment your messages are opened
When your email is viewed at its destination, MSGTGS lets you know. You receive notification from MSGTGS telling you that your message has been opened. The notification also details when the message was sent, when it was viewed, and what the delay has been in between.

How is MSGTGS different from the read receipts you already get in Outlook and other email programs?
Unlike traditional read receipts, MSGTGS doesn't hassle your recipient with pop-up boxes — it's completely automatic — and you can send tagged messages to practically any email address, including Hotmail and Yahoo addresses.

The beauty of MSGTGS is that you don't have to change anything about the way you write or send your email. In fact you'll hardly even know it's there — a small icon in your system tray is the only indication that MSGTGS is working quietly in the background. MSGTGS can be run on almost any desktop email program (including Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora and Pegasus Mail).

MSGTGS runs in the background while you send your email as usual. This means that you don't have to write your message into a strange little box, or alter email addresses before you send anything. One of the best things about MSGTGS is that your friends don't need to do anything different either. There are no annoying pop-up windows asking them to send a notification back to you — all they see is a small MSGTGS footer stating that you've been notified of them having received the message.

MSGTGS Status

MSGTGS Status is an all singing, all dancing, powerhouse of features and functionality for people who send large amounts of tagged mail, or for those who desire greater control over their tagging options.

Status comes equipped with the MSGTGS Dashboard — a handy alternative to traditional message-tag receipts. The dashboard keeps track of your tagged messages and allows you to see at a glance whether messages have been received and opened. Status also provides contact list management, more notification options and customizable tags, all controlled through the MSGTGS Dashboard.

With MSGTGS Status it's not necessary for all your notifications to be emailed to you, so now you can reserve your inbox for news that is — well — new.

With Status you can enter contacts into your MSGTGS contact list and specify which tagging and notification options you want applied to that email address. Contacts can be grouped with drag-and-drop ease, so that with two clicks you can override your default settings and have all messages to a group tagged the same way. You can choose whether you want to be notified by email when your messages are viewed, and your tags are fully customizable.
